Kabir Das Doha

Dukh mein sumiran sab karai, Sukh mein kare na koi

Jo dukh mein sumiran karai, tho dukh kahe ko hoi

--- Sant Kabir Das.



This is a couplet written by saint Kabir, which we learnt it in our sixth grade. The meaning goes like this:



Everybody prays and thinks of the higher self/ god/ lord/ supernatural being, when he/she is in despair, but none tries to acknowledge the higher self/ god/ lord/ supernatural being in happiest moments. But when you can feel the presence and acknowledge the higher self/ god/ lord/ supernatural being in your happiest moments, you will not be in despair.



Many of us would have heard this in lof of ways.



But somehing really made me experience that.
